Introduction
Welcome to the first newsletter of MSV Incognito of academic year 2010-2011!
As usual, the newsletter is bursting with all kinds of usual information, unusual however is that we have decided to include a special introduction message for the new students of DKE containing all important information concerning the faculty and Incognito.
It might also be interesting for the third year students to read this section, as it includes a digital link to the study guide, which in turn contains information about the optional courses.

As most of you already know about MSV Incognito as described in the introduction letter,
I will only outline the important information, and recurring activities.
Also, if you have any problems with regards to the study, be it with homework, teacher or group communication,
do not hesitate to come to us for help. A great time would be the Cookies & Drinks activity, or in a private mail to Incognito.

Incognito will host a series of activities, ranging from BBQ's, paintball, bowling to game nights.
DKE Info
During the introduction, we asked several of you the current issues regarding introduction:
UM Card
If you are Dutch, the card will be sent to your home address.
If you are foreign, you will receive an email that you can pick up the UM Card at the SSC.
If you have not received your UM Card by the second week, it is advisable to go to the SSC
Payment
In general, you will not receive a confirmation of your payment.
You will however, receive a reminder for payment.
Apparently, the only time it matters your payment is received on time, is when you are awarded your diploma.
PC Priviliges
On DKE, we all have administrator access to the computers. This is done because during the study you will be required to install course-specific software.
This also enables you to install other kinds of software on the computer, for which we must ask you to do so on the D:\ partition, under "Very Important Data".
This ensures that the data will not be deleted by the end-of-year-wipe, and does not give the rest of the students problems when they want to work.
Schedules
You can find the schedules of the current block in the hallway leading to the staircase, opposite the common room.

Incognito Weekend
September 11th, 12:00 - September 12th, 18:00 - Add to Google Agenda
Although the Incognito Weekend is generally considered a new-student activity, we would like to invite all of you!
This weekend takes place at 11-12 September.
It will be a weekend of getting to know the new students, playing games and enjoying ourselves.
The weekend will start at 12:00 on the Saturday. From there, you’ll go to a ‘secret’ location where all the other activities will take place.
The total costs for the weekend are 15 Euro, or 25 Euro with membership renewal.
This pays for everything we’ll do the weekend. (Dinner on Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday, all activities and the location)

This year, there is a limit on how many people can come.
The sooner you subscribe, the better your chances of coming along.
OMGWTFBBQ!1!
September 10th @ 17:00
At September 15th, there will be a BBQ to celebrate the start of a new school year.
More information will follow, but if you know how the BBQ´s were last year, you will know what to expect!
If the weather is particularly bad, the BBQ will be moved to another date or cancelled, instead the BOB 1 will be held that day, and in cafe de Twee Heeren.
We start @17:00h. The price is E 5,- for four pieces of meat and E 1,- for drinks.
Block Opening Drink I
September 15th @ 18:00
At September 15th, this year's first Block Opening Drink will be hosted by Incognito.
If weather allows it, it will take place in the faculty garden and we will also host the OMGWTFBBQ!1!, beginning @ 17:00.
If not, we will move to the Twee Heeren @ 20:00, and you will be notified in advance.

Development of a small Flash application which can easily be integrated on the UM website.
The application should display the schedule of the UM Open Day and people are allowed to make a selection, which they then can print.
